Rotary slips are essential handling tools used on onshore and offshore rigs to securely hold tubulars in the rotary table while performing specific operations. These slips are named according to their usage/handling of tubulars, such as drill pipe slips, drill collar slips, tubing slips, and casing slips. Rotary slips are classified based on the size of the tubulars used and the depth of the wells.
We offer three models of Rotary Slip/Drill Pipe Slip:
• Rotary Slip Short (SDS) – Load Rating: 100 Ton
• Rotary Slip Medium (SDML) – Load Rating: 150 Ton
• Rotary Slip Large (SDXL) – Load Rating: 250 Ton
Rotary slips are used in standard API Insert Bowls/Slip Bowls. Slips have an API taper of 4 inches per foot on the diameter. With its superior design and material, the load is distributed evenly throughout the length of the slips, which helps prevent bottlenecking damage of drill pipes. We makes slips with maximum load-carrying capacity yet are lightweight, resulting in a well-balanced design. With excellent design and superior material used, the slips made by Merol have great strength and less wear and tear.
